From: Gloucester, Va.
Ron and Centaurs,
Having just recently heard your latest CD, Gon' Dance, and the previous CD, Southern Style, I must say I am VERY impressed! Not one, but TWO CDs with not a bad song in the bunch. Of course not all songs are shag tunes, but I can see different people dancing to each tune. I have been playing Timeless and Destination Dixie at our regular shag club dances for a while now, and fill the floor every time with both songs. This past weekend, I threw in Gon' Dance, Do That Thang Again, My Lucky Star, and Roll Up The Rug, and they all had the same effect. I can't wait till Feb. 2 to see y'all live at the ACCA Valentine's Dance! Keep writing and playing such great music! you make my job as a shag DJ easier, because I know if it is one of your tunes, it will certainly fill the floor!
Thanks again for the great tunes!

Ron Moody is one of the top singers in the area and could be in the U.S. He has a sound like Elvis and Charlie Rich combined. His Christmas C.D., especially with "Christmas Back Home" is a song that everyone should here, along with the rest of his C.D. Ron wrote all of the music.
His voice is an incredible blend of Elvis and Charlie Rich.
If you have not seen him perform, please don't miss this incredible singer and great band.
Put it on your calendar as a must to see for 2008 if you have not experienced Ron Moody and the Centaurs.

Thanks so much for such a great job of playing at Steve and Kara's wedding at Main Street Station. We loved the music and your style. All our friends and relatives coming down from the north for this wonderful wedding of a special couple commented on how much they loved your band. Kudos for you all.

To Ron and all the Centaurs:
Thank you so much for the unbelievable performance you gave at our wedding at Main
Street Station!!! We've just returned from our honeymoon and all our friends and family are still buzzing about it. This is undoubtedly due to your phenomenal show.
Kara was so excited when you started playing that she pulled us onto the dance floor before I could remind her that it was not our scheduled first dance! The rocking mood and excitement was exactly what we were looking for and everyone - young and old - was out there shaking a tail feather.
Thank you again for making our wedding so much fun. It is a night we will remember forever!

Had a great time at the State Fair. Will be in touch regarding a phoner for part 2 of my "Story Behind" segment on beach music for CHUM radio.
Although we live in Fredericksburg now, we spent years in Toronto. Come spring break thousands of folks from Ontario head to the beaches from VA Bch on down to SC for a little Shag time. Canucks can't get enough of that R&B sound.
Now if I could just get 'em to take their toques off when they go swimming!
