E-mail: bumpctybill@aol.comI was at the fundraiser you did at the Shriners Club in Richmond on Saturday night and from the opening notes of Sweet Soul Music to the closing notes of Sea Cruse, you guys delivered one of the best performances I’ve seen in years.
You play the music we don’t hear anymore, soul music from back in the day. Timeless indeed.
The medleys were amazing, moving seamlessly between songs without missing a beat. Some of your transitions were jaw dropping, to realize that you just changed songs and made it sound like this was how it was written. I loved the way you effortlessly were going back & forth, 1955 to 1975 and everything in between.
The cover of Wildflower you did was unbelievable, it should be recorded.
As I'm always playing your CD’s, I was really hoping to hear some of your originals performed live and you didn't disappoint. Fantastic. I'm really looking forward to your next CD.
What's the chance of you guys heading north or maybe Myrtle Beach next summer? When the chance presents itself, I will be there. Thanks for a memorable night.

A special welcome back to Chuck, I missed that full sound without you on trombone. It was another awesome night with The Centaurs taking
us on a musical journey of the best music the
past 50 years. You guys are Richmond's answer
to "What is Hip".
Looking forward to Shriners on August 8th.
My best to each of you.

E-mail: theshaggindj@yahoo.comRon and Centaurs,
Having just recently heard your latest CD, Gon' Dance, and the previous CD, Southern Style, I must say I am VERY impressed! Not one, but TWO CDs with not a bad song in the bunch. Of course not all songs are shag tunes, but I can see different people dancing to each tune. I have been playing Timeless and Destination Dixie at our regular shag club dances for a while now, and fill the floor every time with both songs. This past weekend, I threw in Gon' Dance, Do That Thang Again, My Lucky Star, and Roll Up The Rug, and they all had the same effect. I can't wait till Feb. 2 to see y'all live at the ACCA Valentine's Dance! Keep writing and playing such great music! you make my job as a shag DJ easier, because I know if it is one of your tunes, it will certainly fill the floor!
Thanks again for the great tunes!
Greg

E-mail: jdalton@vcu.eduRon Moody is one of the top singers in the area and could be in the U.S. He has a sound like Elvis and Charlie Rich combined. His Christmas C.D., especially with "Christmas Back Home" is a song that everyone should here, along with the rest of his C.D. Ron wrote all of the music.
His voice is an incredible blend of Elvis and Charlie Rich.
If you have not seen him perform, please don't miss this incredible singer and great band.
Put it on your calendar as a must to see for 2008 if you have not experienced Ron Moody and the Centaurs.
